The Queue: How do I morning again?

After staying up too late the last week and a half, I’m now forced to go to work first thing in the morning and do actual work! So rude!!

I’m not quite sure how to be a functioning person that early anymore though, I’m sure it’ll be fine…

While I pack my extra large coffee mug for tomorrow, it’s time for — The Queue!

I think that the T-Rex has the size advantage, but the Alien Queen has the brains advantage. The Xenomorphs always seemed to have a pretty good grasp of cunning strategy when they were all by themselves. So I’d assume that the Queen would set a trap for the T-Rex and spring out when it wasn’t looking with all of its sharp points and fangs.

Even if the T-Rex got a good bite in, the acidic Xenomorph blood might just be its undoing. I think that there’s not a clear-cut winner, size does count for a lot in these kind of fights, but I think that we’re looking at an Alien Queen victory in at least 7/10 encounters.

I get that PVP pulse thing, it’s why I stopped playing PVP StarCraft 2! It does come back sometimes on raid bosses that we’re really close, but also not quite there yet on killing. You know those pulls where you’ve worked on them for nights and nights, and now you’re in kill range, but half the raid is dead and the next major mechanic is 25 seconds away.

I don’t want to live in that feeling forever, but once in a while, it’s pretty fun.

As an aside, why are you driving 200kph?! That’s too fast! Are you on the Autobahn? Don’t crash, there’ll only be small bits of you left!

The last Blizzard game I bought was Diablo 4. Which I’ve finally played, now that it’s available on Xbox Games Pass! It turned out that I just wanted a nice chill couch experience rather than being at my desk and computer, and I really didn’t want to pay for Diablo 4 a second time to get that experience.

Turns out it’s a pretty alright way to kill a bunch of demons and beasts and such! I’ve been playing a Fire Sorceror this season and having an excellent time dropping meteors on people while summoning fire-breathing hydra. I haven’t gotten much into the endgame activities yet, but I am in the third world tier and bopping along the road to level 70. I wish that the game had given us a better look at Andariel for how big of a deal she was supposed to be. I also wish we’d gotten more fully rendered cinematics, which I know is greedy — but Blizzard cinematics are so cool how could I not want more?!?

The last non-Blizzard game I bought was Cult of the Lamb. It scratched the HADES itch pretty well, and when I’m done killing demons in Diablo I’ll probably go back and see what the expansions have brought to it.

That’s a bummer, I’m also not going to get to see the total eclipse. That’s more of an I’m on the western part of North America situation though.

I used to do them a lot! Especially when I was working on all of the fishing I needed to do for Otto. Nowadays I think I’ve done them three times in the last raid tier…

I even have some of the Tuskar upgrades, but I was mostly pulling out the garbage fish from the Dragon Isles and that wasn’t enough incentive for me to go back and check them.

This may surprise you, but my favorite animal? Bears! They’re so fuzzy, and I know I may get mauled right after, but who doesn’t wanna go pet one?

My second favorite is probably Sharks. I’m even wearing a Jaws hoody right now as I write this! They’re like the bears of the sea, just not in a fuzzy way. More in the apex predator kinda way.
