Now live! Pink Mercy is back: Overwatch 2 teams up with BCRF again to offer two Mercy skins and fund breast cancer research

The original Pink Mercy skin raised 12.7 million dollars, so BCRF is teaming up with Overwatch 2 to try to capture lightning in a bottle to fund breast cancer research once again. Starting June 25, you’ll be able to purchase the new Rose Gold Mercy bundle for $19.99 USD. The bundle includes a Rose Gold Mercy name card, player icon, and spray, plus the skin itself. If you missed out on the original Pink Mercy back in 2018, you can also nab that one for the same price as before — $14.99. The promotion will last until July 8, so you have plenty of time to purchase.

It’ll be interesting to see how successful this promotion is this time around. While it’s likely many people will jump at the chance to simply donate to such a worthy cause, it does seem a little odd in terms of valuation at this point — you could either buy Pink Mercy or a battle pass for the upcoming Season 11 for the same price. And since the new skin is only a slightly different tint — though, granted, another beautiful one — I’m a little nervous about their chances of equaling the past wildly successful skin sale.

If you like the vibe, you can also pick up a rose gold Mercy icon via Twitch Drop. You can watch any Overwatch streamer for three hours to pick up the icon, with a Kiriko spray and Hanzo skin available if you keep watching.

But still, Pink Mercy was one of the most popular — and simultaneously rarest — skins in Overwatch 2 since it was first available for sale. Making it available for purchase for such a great cause is going to have a lot of people excited, including us.
