Another quick holiday WoW maintenance for New Year’s Eve
This week’s WoW maintenance should be short and sweet: the WoW servers are scheduled to be offline from 7am – 8am pacific time. That includes all modern WoW, WoW Classic, and Cataclysm Classic realms. I don’t expect Blizzard will be doing anything extraordinary this morning, so look for servers to come up on time.
While we wait for servers to come back online, it’s a good time to remind you of all of the events ending within the next week or so, in case you need to rush to catch up on any holiday events:
- Diablo 4’s festive Slay Ride to Hell event (as well as Mother’s Blessing) ends January 2, and all rewards are available to claim — in fact, you could log in right now to get them!
- Winter Veil in Warcraft Rumble ends January 2
- Winter Veil in World of Warcraft ends January 5
- World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary event ends January 6
- Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland ends January 6
And if you’re looking outside the world of Blizzard games, the Steam Winter Sale wraps up on January 2 (we have some suggestions on great deals to pick up!) and the Epic Games Store Daily Giveaway and holiday sale is expected to end on January 9. Other stores typically mimic these sales, so you’re running out of time to grab these deals.
Here’s to a great 2025 — I’ll see you on the other side of today’s maintenance.
