The Queue: The Adventures of Fallout Batman

So I may be just a bit modhappy when it comes to Fallout 4. To the point where I’ve started playing my current character, a frozen lawyer, as if she found one of Bruce Wayne’s many many caves full of all sorts of high tech nonsense and is now dressing up in the power armor from Batman Beyond to fight raider gangs and other criminals.
Look, you get through life however you can. And I admit I laugh every time I see Batman standing there but the dialog is captioned ‘Jennifer.’
Q4tQ We had a Tyrael’s Charger mount and now Inarius’ Charger. Do you think we’ll get Imperius’ Charger next, or they’ll mix it up and add Maltheal’s Charger?
I read that as “Matthew’s Charger” the first time and I was all confused. I have a horse? Since when?
Imperius isn’t getting a charger. I half suspect we’ll discover that the taint Diablo left behind in the Heavens ultimately corrupted the Crystal Arch and all the Archangels and we’re going to have to kill them. I think all the stuff with Akarat and the Spirit World will open up as a third alternative, meaning that we no longer need Angels (and we certainly don’t need Demons) and it’s that very fear of obsolescence that is motivating the Hells to strike again and again at Sanctuary.
Why exist for work for ~11 hours a day, and only get ~5 hours of free time.
Why not ~11 hours of free time and ~5 hours of work?
Some people own practically everything and have managed to delude the majority of humanity to allow this instead of rising up and crushing them and making sure all humans can live a comfortable life with the plentiful resources this planet offers.
To maintain this con job, they create economic tension and foster a work/life balance that is utterly unsustainable, causing us to spend most our lives attempting to get through life in whatever ways we can. They chortle like the grossest, most over fed dragons on their piles of wealth and eat the lives of tens of thousands, millions, even billions of people. That’s why.
Silly me. I thought I had enough time to run ICC before the top of the hour. There needs to be a ‘skip to the end’ option for Arthas.
Seriously, even with being able to explosively annihilate a raid boss, all that running and gathering up the creatures at the boss’s feet to kill them all in the AoE storm still ends up taking time. I remember when I was farming Legion raids and I remember just spending so much time running around to get to the bosses I wanted.
I think those quests that people could complete to start skipping bosses should become just automatically unlocked if we’re in content that old. Just give us the end boss portal and call it good.,
Q4tQ How do we feel about Khadgar quoting Darth Vader?
This confirms it, Khadgar is a Dreadlord. Get him, Fallout Batman!
isn’t it funny that in Mists Classic, an environment with no shared tagging, I have little to no issue finding mobs to tag to do my quests
yet in The War Within zones, some world quests take forever because you need to do several laps around the areas trying to find targets to kill.
It’s like rain on your wedding day. Here is a picture of a sad Batman standing in the radioactive ruins of Boston — er, I mean Gotham.
A: I think people who currently have a max level panda should get the mount, as well.
B: I went back and downloaded the Factorio demo and gave it another try. I will say that the Tutorial for it is pretty bad; it doesn’t really teach you the mindset for the game and just throws staged goals at you. The UI to the game still feels clunky, like how software used to be programmed in the 80s and 90s before they came up with User Interface professionals. But once I forced myself past the very very early game / tutorial and started actually building up the logistics, I kinda got how it could be fun.
A: I think just letting those of us with max level Pandaren have the mount would defeat the whole ‘lure people into creating a new Pandaren character before Mists Classic comes out so that maybe they’ll keep playing once the expac drops’ thing they’re doing. When in doubt, tell people there’s a mount up for grabs.
B: I honestly can’t say I’ve ever seen ‘this demo is bad and it should feel bad, but if you just force yourself to keep playing while not enjoying it, you may eventually start to enjoy it or at least I could imagine someone enjoying it’ as what I think you meant as encouragement to give the game a try.
I stopped by a comics/vinyl shop today. Spent a ridiculous amount of money, mostly on purchasing literally half of their TTRPG section (…they had a GURPS 4e box set and the Rick and Morty D&D set…I got the GURPS set).
They had an ESB Yoda on card for like $300. And as we were leaving, I saw a G1 Aerialbots set in box from the outside. I had to stop myself from going back in.
You know, even today I really like GURPS. The splatbooks were often useful even if you weren’t running the game, and there was a lot to be said for the whole ‘generic’ part of ‘Generic Universal Role Playing System’ because I played a whole host of very different games with GURPS.
Also if that was a pack of Gen 1 Dinobots I’d be at your house asking you where to find that store.
Let’s see if the CMS lets me end this Queue with a shot of Fallout Batman being a remarkably faithful adaptation of actual Batman all things considered.
