How to watch the Manaforge Omega Race to World First
The Race to World First is back, and it’s all going down now! (Server status depending, of course.)
Are you ready to watch the best World of Warcraft players in the world storm the gates of Manaforge Omega to try and stop Dimensius the All-Devouring from devouring all of the World of Warcraft? You’re in luck! This week sees the return of the premier Warcraft esport the Race to World First. Teams from around the world will put their skills to the test to try and clear the latest raid faster than everyone else. Over the next days and weeks we’ll see players pull the bosses of Manaforge Omega over and over again, getting incremental progress with each pull — often at the cost of their mental and physical health.
Still, that doesn’t stop these players from trying to get all the glory that comes from being the best of the best. Team Liquid managed to snag the Gallywix kill on their 100th attempt in the most recent race, and now it’s payback time for Echo and Method. Echo and Liquid have both been trading trophies back and forth, while Method has been steadily gaining on the two top guilds after rebuilding itself. Nipping at their heels are any number of guilds, who are just a few good pulls away from being proper contenders. There are a number of guilds from China who have been inching closer and closer, bolstered by a chance at a fairly lucrative cash prize from NetEase for coming in first, or a smaller prize for a top three finish.
Manaforge Omega doesn’t look like it’ll be an easy nut to crack though. Guilds will have to navigate the nine boss raid to face off against the largest raid boss Warcraft has ever had. Whoever kills Dimensius first will claim the crown for the remainder of The War Within. There are three main streams, from the top three guilds, and many more smaller streams from other players racing: here’s where to watch the race.
Team Liquid
Liquid is coming into this the front runners for The War Within. They managed to get the top spot in the first two raids and are looking to make this a three-peat. If they do, they’ll be the kings of The War Within and have some pretty strong bragging rights. Their GM Maximum has proven his skills at organizing a raid group, and more impressively getting them to perform well even after hundreds of pulls. The casting team includes some top talent in the Warcraft guide and streaming worlds, players who have the specific skillset to keep the stream entertaining while Liquid pulls a boss for the fiftieth time.

Echo Guild
Echo needs to make a strong push on their race this time if they want a chance to reclaim their glory from Dragonflight. They’ll be streaming live from Cologne, Germany, with a crack team of raiders who’ve been doing this for as long as the Race to World First has been a thing. They’re coming into this confident and promising big gold payouts to players who help them achieve their farming goals as they gear up their raid team.

Method is the guild that has been around the longest of the three top spots. They’re hoping that history will prove to be the deciding factor in this raid as they take on the void minions of Dimensius. They’re also offering the biggest gold payouts of the top three guilds for players who help funnel them gear in their Normal and Heroic runs. They’ll also be raising money for Movember over the course of the raid, so watching and donating to them will be for a good cause.

For text-based updates, Raider.io has to the minute updates on every guild racing, and we’ll be posting daily rundowns of the race as well.
Good luck to all of the teams taking part in the race — may the best raiders win!
