We've got a major Final Fantasy title releasing onto PC this week, a new metroidvania, a surprise remake of a popular action title, and a beautiful 2D souls-like to talk about this week! The lull in new releases has come to an end, and we're back to glorious gaming bliss.

While the patch notes are long (oh jeez they are long), we're going to go ahead and highlight a few of the amazing changes that came out in today's patch.

We're in the second week of 2025 and unfortunately we're still in the doldrums of new gaming releases, but fear not!

We're into that final weekend before Christmas, which means that new releases in gaming have more or less dried up.

It feels like just yesterday the Steam Autumn Sale ended, but now the Steam Winter Sale has begun and the sales will continue into the new year.

One of the biggest changes made in our current patch (11.0.5) was that Blizzard went back and made it so Shadowlands raids were easier to solo.
