It's once again Friday, though this week is a bit different -- instead of covering the new releases this week (of which there were few, and nothing major that I could note) we're going to talk about some neat demos that are available to play during Steam NextFest this week.

Let's go fishing with the Viva La Dirt League crew in Nice Day for Fishing, become the legally distinct not!Avatar and farm in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, finally get to play the next two chapters in DELTARUNE, and cap it all off with a favorite of mine that's on sale this weekend (Lies of P).

It's a holiday weekend here in the United States, but the video game train doesn't stop.

We've hit the middle of May! The birds are singing, the thunderstorms are thundering, and games are... oddly not really releasing. Some are, which we will talk about this week -- but it looks like a lot of titles avoided releasing this week for fear of being crushed by DOOM: The Dark Ages. Which, of course, we'll be talking about this week!

This week, we're going to take an adventure with a fox and a raven (Spirit of the North 2), get revenge against a savage planet (Revenge of the Savage Planet), and to study some magic and relax (Ithya: Magic Studies). We'll also touch on a favorite of mine that's on sale, being we're a little light on new, well rated, interesting titles this week (Dark Souls 3).
