If you're a Blizzard fan -- especially a World of Warcraft fan -- who likes physical merch to celebrate the game you play, there's quite a bit of stuff in the Blizzard Gear Store that might catch your fancy.

With the world's most widely-marketed tabletop RPG having a decidedly light product release schedule in 2025 (only three books and a weirdly-delayed starter set, plus a D&D-themed slot machine and AI content no one asked for), tabletop gamers might be wondering what exactly will be coming out this year to hold their interest or spark exciting new game ideas.

World of Warcraft patch 11.1 is on the PTR, and Mythic+ dungeon testing is set to commence tomorrow and continue for 6 weeks.

First introduced in Dragonflight, the Turbulent Timeways world event is set to return for the first time in The War Within as Turbulent Timeways II -- and with a new event comes a new mount reward in the form of the Bronze Dragonflight-themed Timely Buzzbee.

One of the biggest features of our trip to Siren Isle in WoW's 11.0.7 patch is the promise of a brand new shiny ring to upgrade over time and fill with special gems that have magical powers.

By this point, a lot of World of Warcraft players have done a great deal of gearing up during Season 1 of The War Within, but there are still a lot of walls being hit by players at the high end -- achievements with some silly requirements, absurd amounts of crests needed to craft the highest tier of crafted item, and overtly punitive crest losses from failing a Mythic+ timer.

After the freedom to fly all over Khaz Algar right off the bat in The War Within, it might come as a shock to players to not be able to fly again on the Siren Isle.

The centerpiece of WoW patch 11.0.7 is Siren Isle, with its four new mounts and its fancy customizable ring, along with quests, story, and all the usual stuff you've come to expect from a World of Warcraft content patch.

Despite the fact that Larian Studios is done with Baldur's Gate 3 and has stated that they have no intention of producing DLC for the game (up to the point of starting DLC, then canceling it, because it wasn't really coming from the heart), they keep dropping entire patches that -- on top of the expected bugfixes and such -- keep adding features on par with what other games would provide in (non-free!) DLC.

I've often said that collecting tabletop RPGs is a different hobby from playing them.
