Halloween is my favorite time of the year, and luckily, Blizzard has chosen to celebrate in most of their games as well this year.

About six months ago, we went through a rollercoaster with the Hearthstone team making some terrible changes to daily and weekly quests, but later salvaging the situation and ultimately landing into some very positive changes.

The Hearthstone team has been incredibly reliable about releasing new expansions on the same dates with nearly clockwork precision since the game launched its first expansion over a decade ago.

The new Hearthstone patch is here, featuring the mini-set for the Perils in Paradise expansion and several new cosmetics hitting the in-game shop.

Leapfrogger is back in the Hearthstone Battlegrounds!

The next Hearthstone miniset, The Traveling Travel Agency, launches September 10, including the usual new cards and being purchasable with either in-game gold or real money — but far more importantly, it has some of the most creative (and pun-tastic) cards out there.

Every new season of Hearthstone Battlegrounds brings us a ton of new hero skins, and the beach-themed season 8 is no exception -- but as much as we applaud the imagination, some of these skins are a little bit unbelievable.

Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8, Trinkets & Travels, is almost upon us, bringing a brand-new mechanic called Trinkets.

The newly-announced Season 8 for Hearthstone Battlegrounds, Trinkets & Travels, will introduce a new mechanic to the mix: Trinkets are new passive power-ups that you buy with gold, and are yours for the rest of the game — much like Quest Rewards.

Perils in Paradise has been an odd expansion balance-wise, with incredibly aggressive decks winning games by turns four or five, combo decks dealing lethal damage from hand probably too soon, and control decks resurrecting a plethora of nearly unkillable copies of Zilliax.
