The Queue: Mean Girl

It’s funny, sometimes I try to be so nice, especially to the posters who need it, and then sometimes, well. I just can’t help it if I have such good advice, but this column is really popular, kinda like me, so you’ll need to wait.

This is The Queue, our daily column where you ask us the questions and we’ll probably get to answering, but we get like, so many questions, so.


The Queue: Still Here

Next Monday I complete my fiftieth trip around the sun. This now makes me eligible to use the local senior center or to join the AARP. I of course will do neither of these things (unless the senior center offers a mountain dulcimer course again); to quote the late great Jimmy Buffett a second time this intro: I’m growing older but not up.

I keep going back and forth as to whether I should consider it a big deal; heck knows society and party stores want me to, but I also know they do so out of glee that I’m “over the hill” — but I like to think I’m still climbing. Still, it’d be weird to let it pass by with no comment or introspection, so I’m just going to motivate myself with League of Legends songs and Dylan Thomas poems.

While I do everything I can to rage against the dying of the light, let’s answer some questions!


Here’s the smorgasbord of delicious meals awaiting you from the Cooking profession in The War Within

Every expansion in World of Warcraft brings with it tasty new Cooking recipes, from recipes so good they became actual real-life recipes to the nearly-inedible foods of Shadowlands (I guess Brokers didn't know that most of us don't like Pickled Meat Smoothies and Butterscotch Marinated Ribs). The War Within also includes a large variety of new foods (including food that lasts through death!), many of which have a fun twist on the fact that you're spending a lot of time in cave systems.
