Classic Hardcore

Another year, another roadmap of what to look forward to in WoW Classic.

During BlizzCon 2023, we learned about quite a few changes in Warcraft Classic.  Aside from Classic realms moving from Wrath to Cataclysm, we have the Season of Discovery arriving soon, and Hardcore mode will have a new Solo Self Found mode, where you level 1-60 alone and can not craft items or trade until level 60.

Blizzard has released the official Hardcore ruleset detailing what players can expect from the Hardcore experience in World of Warcraft Classic when it goes live on August 24 at 3PM PDT.

When Blizzard first announced the development of a Hardcore realm for World of Warcraft Classic, they teased two hallmark features that would be included in their Hardcore mode: permanent character death and the Duels to the Death system.

In May, Blizzard announced a World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore realm was in development for a summer release, and last week we got a look at the official ruleset and structure of just how Hardcore realms will function.
