Story Mode

Soon, it will be time for World of Warcraft's Midnight expansion to launch, kicking off the second part of the Worldsoul Saga as baddie (in every sense of the word) Xal'atath invades Azeroth with an army of void creatures at her beck and call.

With this week's opening of the "Story Mode" of the Liberation of Undermine raid players who have not had the opportunity to defeat Chrome King Gallywix in the raid at Normal or higher difficulty (the fight doesn't open for LFR for another two weeks) now have the opportunity to complete the campaign and see all the story that patch 11.1 has to offer.

Raiding in Nerub-ar Palace is in full swing at all levels of play in The War Within, from the Race to World First to LFR, but one difficulty is new: Story Mode, which allows anyone to enter a solo version of the Queen Ansurek fight with a party of NPC allies and see an abbreviated version of the encounter.

With the imminent launch of The War Within, players will be chomping at the bit to dive into some of those new dungeons and raids, full of everything from fire bees to angry Arathi.

Every time I play Heroes of the Storm, I immediately regret how terrible I am at it.
