Breakfast Topic: Would you like more Garrison personalization?

One of the big focuses of the recent patch 6.2 Q&A was the idea that Garrisons wound up being too rewarding for too little effort, but I think that’s just one of the places where what I wanted out of Garrisons and what I actually got were very out of step. A lot of effort was clearly poured into making sure that this collection of buildings would be rewarding, but not much was expended on making them feel like mine.

Case in point, the fact that you can’t have specific racial structures on display. I would feel a lot happier about my own Garrison and even visiting others if I could have my Draenei actually build, you know, Draenei structures. Yes, you can get racial guards, but that’s a relatively minor thing when I’m looking at the same human or orcish structures no matter what I do.

I may be in the minority, but I’d happily trade in some of the rewards from Garrisons just to have a Garrison that felt a little more distinct for me. Would you trade in some of the mechanical frills of the Garrison if you could have more customization options? Or would you have preferred less Garrison development all around rather than having more of it focus on making the space distinctly your own?
