Watch the Hearthstone announcement live or on Twitch

I used to live in San Francisco. I miss quite a bit about the city, and so now I’m doubly jealous that Blizzard’s upcoming Hearthstone announcement will take place live at the Folsom Street Foundry in San Francisco next Wednesday, July 22nd. Though space is limited, anyone can attend — just be prepared to get there early and wait in line. If you can’t make the event in person, however, you’ll be able to catch it live on Twitch, too.

What will be going on at this event? Well, we’re promised special matches, a developer chat, and, oh yeah, a special announcement about Hearthstone itself. We’ve speculated about what such an announcement might be — possibly a new expansion? The Argent Tournament coming to Hearthstone? Whatever it is, watch the stream and/or head down to Folsom Street if you happen to live in the SF area (and say hi to Colma for me, I miss that place).

It all goes down this July 22nd starting at 2:30 PM Pacific (that’s 5:30 PM for East Coasters) so mark your calendars.
