One year ago — give or take a week — Blizzard Watch’s creators took a leap and created their own website thanks to the tremendous support of readers, and the crowdfunding website Patreon. In between anniversary posts and releasing celebratory t-shirts, Blizzard Watch Editor-in-Chief Alex Ziebart was featured on a recent edition of the Patreon Podcast to discuss how Blizzard Watch came together.

In addition to discussing the crowdfunding venture itself, Alex also spoke about streaming, creating content, and what it takes to keep a site like Blizzard Watch running day in and day out.
