Breakfast Topic: What is your most memorable Warlords raid?

With the announcement of the Legion launch date yesterday came a Twitter conversation about Warlords raids. Since we likely aren’t getting any more Warlords raids at this point we can look back at what we already have and judge which ones stood out for better or for worse.

I’m not a hardcore raider and have not participated in every fight myself, and most of those I have been in were through the LFR tool with the exception of an Archimonde #FriendshipMoose run. But out of all those encounters, I would have to say the one I will likely remember the most is the one I liked the least and that was the Iron Reaver.

That raid boss was absolutely impossible to defeat in an LFR group. The amount of coordination needed to avoid all of the ground AOE while staying in range of healers was simply not going to happen with a hastily assembled group that were used to simply DPS’ing their way through targets. It was excruciating and as a healer I simply couldn’t grind through it in LFR and never did finish it.
