Breakfast Topic: Will you get funky in Hearthstone’s Karazhan?
Karazhan’s back, baby. Medivh’s throwing a party and we’re all invited! Karazhan has been a long-time favorite locale for World of Warcraft players, and in the next Hearthstone adventure, the zone is receiving the trademark Hearthstone silliness. Are you excited? I’m pretty excited.
I admit: I’m a terrible Hearthstone player. I don’t pay nearly enough attention to what I’m doing in video games to be competitive — and even worse, I turn into a rage beast when playing competitive games. Even though I know I’m losing because I’m the one not paying attention, I get mad about losing. Games where I need to play against others is just a bad space for me. Despite that, I love playing every new Hearthstone adventure, not to mention Tavern Brawls which, given their lack of consequences, don’t make me see red nearly as often as ranked play. I will absolutely be playing One Night in Karazhan. The new cards, I’m not too worried about those. I just want to see fun new bosses in a familiar (yet Hearthstone fresh) Karazhan backdrop.
Will you be checking out One Night in Karazhan? In terms of bringing Karazhan to Hearthstone, does this seem like everything you hoped for, or is the Hearthstone approach to humor not your thing? Will you be holding a dance party in World of Warcraft Karazhan to celebrate its launch? (I probably won’t. That sounds like work.)
