The Queue: Personal space

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

While I appreciate the urgency of all these Legion goings-on, Khadgar, I’m thinking maybe you should give your servant a few lessons in the merits of personal space. I mean, come on. I’m not about to go saving the world with all these split ends, and they aren’t going to cut themselves, so unless big pink up here’s got a degree from a salon academy can you please kindly tell it to buzz off.

LOVELYWAZ ASKED:

Q4tQ !! Are there no mailboxes in Hunters’ class hall or I can’t find them?

Nope, unfortunately Azeroth’s couriers were unable to locate the Unseen Path. You’ll have to go to Dalaran to check your mail — luckily, there’s a portal right there in Trueshot Lodge, and you can take the eagle on Krasus’ Landing to get back to the lodge immediately after you’re done sorting through your mail.

DRAKISLORD ASKED:

QFTQ (or anyone else) about SHAMAN, is there a way to get the spectral/ghost wolf form?

Yes there is! It’s a glyph. You can either make it with inscription, or purchase it via the Auction House. These glyphs are now applied directly in your spellbook, since there isn’t a glyph interface anymore — but don’t worry, they didn’t take the ghost wolf away.

STEFKIRRO ASKED:

Qftq: do you think that sylvanas (or any other leader) would join the legion and betray Azeroth in order to save her people from destruction? Will we see history repeat itself (azshara)?

Nope — how exactly would joining the Legion on its campaign of destroying the universe do anything towards helping her people survive? If the Legion wins, it’s game over.

VELLASERUS ASKED:

QFTQ – Do the forsaken sleep? And if not wouldn’t they conquer everything based on their levels of increased productivity?

I mean, they could if they wanted to. But they don’t really need to, no. Sort of like breathing — they don’t really need to do that, either. But if you watch their idle animation, they appear to breath, and sigh, and take in air — maybe it’s a force of habit from when they were alive, or an attempt to blend in and be slightly less unsettling than they already are.

PHILSTER ASKED:

QftQ: If Blizzard introduced more character model customization options, and if a way to “reverse” the “Curse of Flesh” was discovered, would you change your gnomes, humans and dwarves to their “Titan-intended forms?”  Mechagnomes, iron vrykuls and earthen?

I think being able to play a vrykul would be pretty fun. But I don’t think it should be a customization option so much as I think it’d be a pretty cool new race to add. Same with the Nightborne — they look really, really cool. But part of the reason they’re cool is the whole story surrounding them. I’d rather they be an entirely new race to play than just another option for Night Elf characters, you know?

DTAIL ASKED:

VERY VERY silly question lore wise. It seems that WoW is a lot of backtracking and things that happened earlier in this universe. The thing we see now, is that “present” as to WoD or some “this is what happened” to where you are now, e.g Stormwind and kings and stuff. Or is this after WoD. Really sorry for not having paid attention to Lore.

Everything that is going on currently is taking place after the events of Warlords — in Warlords, Gul’dan managed to escape at the end of the last fight in Hellfire Citadel. It turns out he was sent to Azeroth when Archimonde chucked him through the portal. After he arrived, he started kicking off the events that led to Legion.
