StarCraft’s final Nova Covert Ops mission out now

Finally. Over a year after StarCraft 2’s Nova mission pack trilogy was announced at BlizzCon 2015 and nine months after the first pack was released, the last episode is available for download. You can pick up the third installment for $7.50 or, if you haven’t yet bought any of them, grab the whole trilogy for $15. You don’t need to own StarCraft 2 to play: as long as you buy the mission packs, you can access them through the free-to-play Starter Edition.

Admittedly, with a time-frame like that we’ve kind of lost track of the plot by now — and that’s really the biggest problem we have with Covert Ops. This drawn out launch schedule, combined with Blizzard not always giving launch dates or announcing when a new mission pack has been released, has made it tough for Nova Covert Ops to hold our interest. But for those of you who haven’t picked it up already, you can skip this problem by buying the whole thing and binging your way through it over the holiday weekend. (At least for Americans. Sorry, everyone else, but you only have a normal weekend to while away with Nova.)

For gamers looking for more StarCraft 2, you can currently pick up the trilogy for $40 or the individual games for $10 (Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm) or $20 (Legacy of the Void). Now that’s a weekend gaming binge.
