Class changes coming alongside release of Mythic and LFR Tomb of Sargeras

Hot on the tails of the latest WoW hotfixes, which included tuning for the Tomb of Sargeras encounters, we have a round of class tuning to ensure every spec is competitive on their journey into the Tomb. That means an across the board buff for Havoc Demon Hunters, Survival Hunters, and Windwalker Monks, but a nerf for Affliction Warlocks. The changes will be going live with maintenance, which means tomorrow for North American realms and Wednesday for European realms.
With Mythic difficulty and the first Raid Finder wing opening tomorrow, this will hopefully keep all specs competitive — but the only constant in an MMO is change, so this may not be the last round of tuning we’ll see this raid tier.

We continue to closely follow the performance of all specs in Patch 7.2.5, with particular focus on Tomb of Sargeras, and we’re looking to make a few targeted adjustments with maintenance in each region, starting tomorrow:
Demon Hunter
- Havoc
- Damage of all abilities increased by 2%.
- Demon’s Bite damage increased by 46%.
- Effect of Mastery: Demonic Presence (damage only) increased by 7%.
Hunter
- Survival
- Damage of all abilities increased by 4%.
Monk
- Windwalker
- Damage of all abilities increased by 2.5%.
- Fists of Fury damage increased by 12%.
Warlock
- Affliction
- Corruption and Agony damage reduced by 5%.
