Will there be any new Diablo content at BlizzCon?

We didn’t get anything at Gamescom, but with the Necromancer proving popular I’m wondering if we’ll see anything from the venerable Diablo franchise at this year’s BlizzCon. We know it’ll be here in a few months, and we know from the recent earnings call that Blizzard was pleased with player response to the Necromancer, but we haven’t heard anything about actual new content. The Necromancer was a new class, but while it required work to fit it into the existing game, nothing new was added to Diablo 3 in terms of story. So are we going to get any new Diablo stories?

I ask because Reaper of Souls came out in March of 2014. That’s three years without a peep. No announced new expansion, no sequel, nothing but occasional adventure mode additions. Now, a lot of those are interesting and have implications for Diablo lore, but they don’t answer the big questions about Leah, about what happened to Diablo and the Prime and Lesser Evils once the Black Soulstone was destroyed, if the people of Sanctuary are utterly freaked out by what Malthael did (he almost killed everyone, you’d think that would stir things up a touch), and a host of other questions. At least some of these need some answers.

I don’t really care if they do a story pack, an actual expansion, a follow up game or what have you just so long as they do something. But will they? What do you guys think, are we going to hear anything about Diablo at this year’s BlizzCon?
