What’s your dream change for World of Warcraft?

Because for me, it’s a change that I absolutely know will never, ever happen. But if it did, I’d be thrilled. I’d absolutely love it if Warriors were broken up into two classes — a class inspired by the Diablo Barbarian (which we would of course call the Barbarian) that basically went with that whole “berserk, frenzied smasher and destroyer” aesthetic. Give it a Single-Minded Fury spec, a Titan’s Grip spec, and a 2H-plus-shield tanking spec. The Arms and Prot specs can remain together, and get a third spec that’s basically Gladiator Stance reborn — call them the Knight or the Soldier or something, make them all around armor and weapons and discipline, give them an actual Discipline mechanic where instead of Rage, they build up Discipline and can use it for their Maneuvers.

There are literally dozens of reasons this will never happen. First off, it’ll never happen because we have people playing Warriors right now and almost none of them would be excited to have to pick which of these two new classes to convert their Warrior to. We’re all used to our characters at this point. Look at how people reacted when the updated models came out and suddenly they looked different, and imagine how people would feel on being told their Orc Protection Warrior had to pick between these two options. I’d love it, but I think Blizzard would be completely justified in knocking me out with a dart gun if I ever was anywhere near the ability to implement this.

But that leads me to asking you — what’s your dream change? What’s the one thing you’d absolutely love to change about World of Warcraft, no matter how ridiculous and impractical it really would be? No more Shadow Priests? The Forsaken all get resurrected? The Horde and the Alliance get married? The sky is the limit — tell us your wildly impossible ideas.
