All the Hearthstone cards leaving Standard Mode and moving to the Legacy Set
Much is changing with the advent of Hearthstone’s Core Set, which is live with Forged in the Barrens expansion launch. It’s a radical change for the game, and many cards that have been in Standard Mode for years — including Basic and Classic mainstays — will become playable only in Wild Mode from now on. Some cards that used to be cornerstones of a few classes — like Frostbolt, Kill Command, and Savage Roar — are gone!
At the same time, the Legacy Set from Wild Mode will be bolstered with cards that had been previously placed into the Hall of Fame — which means that Wild Mode is about to get even wilder than before.
Want to find out more? Read on to learn about every card that is going to make it into the Legacy Set.

The Hall of Fame is no more!
All the cards that had been previously placed into the Hall of Fame and were no longer playable have entered the Legacy Set — with just a few exceptions. One card, Shadowform, has actually entered the Core Set, and thus returned to Standard, in a slightly modified form.
Two other cards have returned to their original homes — the Witchwood Set — instead of the Legacy Set. But they’re still playable in Wild Mode anyway. Those cards are:
