This weekend, Tavern Watch talks to Avatar Legends Lead Designer Brendan Conway — listen live this afternoon!

This weekend, the Tavern Watch podcast — our brand new show focusing on tabletop RPGs — will be a special one because we’re going to be talking to Brendan Conway, Lead Designer for the upcoming Avatar Legends tabletop RPG. You know, the game that just became most successful RPG Kickstarter pledge drive ever, raising over $7 million to build the Avatar tabletop game we’ve always wanted to play. Also, he brought us one of my favorite RPGs, the superhero-themed Masks. To say that we’re excited to get to talk to Brendan about his work is a pretty significant understatement.

If you’re interested in hearing Brendan talk about working on this new Avatar game — or possibly fielding a relentless barrage of questions from me about Masks because are you kidding, I’m going to be like a Velociraptor at a Protoceratops corpse over here bouncing around with questions about if we’re ever going to get a new edition of that game, or maybe something completely unrelated — tune in to  Twitch this Saturday, August 28 at 2:30PM Central to listen live. Instead of our usual pre-show, we’ll start the conversation right at 2:30 and chat with Brendan for about an hour and follow up with a post-show chat amongst ourselves.
