What other classes would you like to see in Diablo 4?

Thanks to a deluge of news, we officially have the fifth and final Diablo 4 class revealed — but that’s just at launch. Both Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 added classes after launch, with the Assassin and Druid being added in Diablo 2‘s Lord of Destruction expansion and the Crusader added in Reaper of Souls, while the Necromancer actually was added specifically to Diablo 3 in a stand alone add on. So we could have other classes added after launch for Diablo 4.

I personally hope we’ll get some version of a holy warrior class, the role Paladins played in Diablo 2 and Crusaders played in Diablo 3. And in fact, I’d love it if it was the Templar (no, not the Protoss ones), the companion character from D3, who appeared as a full fledged holy class in Diablo 4. I’ve been saying that we should see something along those lines since I first played Diablo 4 at BlizzCon 2019,  and I still feel the same way. Since we know that there won’t be a heavy emphasis on Diablo himself or the other Lords of Hell in the opening storyline of D4, maybe a later DLC or expansion might bring in one of the holy orders as part of a storyline.

But that’s just me being a sucker for the potential rebirth of the Zakarum faith in Diablo 4. There are other classes we could see — Diablo 3 stalwarts like the Wizard, the Witch Doctor, the Monk, and the Demon Hunter are all conspicuously missing from Diablo 4‘s roster, as are the Amazon and the Assassin from Diablo 2. I would be happy to see any of them get an eventual appearance in Diablo 4.

So, what do you think? Maybe an entirely new class,  one that hasn’t appeared in any previous Diablo game? What classes would you  like to see get added to Diablo 4 after the current five?
