The Queue: ’tis the season!

Can you believe that it’s almost Christmas?

I can’t — there’s still so much to do! I’m going to need about another week easily.

While I talk to someone to see about getting the calendar extended, it’s time for — The Queue.

They wouldn’t have to do every mount model, just the skeleton for each, that’s way animations! Now that we’ve got that fixed I’m sure we’ll see a hotfix any minute now that adds dragon-riding to the rest of the stable.

I’d be willing to accept a bunch of jank if it let me use the rest of my mounts with dragon-riding. Some of the jank would be the best part! Imagine seeing a flying horse try and do a barrel roll!

Mainly I just want my Flight Form back for current content. I miss being a raven!

I’ve done just about every sidequest that I could get my hands on. I’ve finished the main campaign and started building renown with all of our good buddies out and about on the Dragon Isles. What I haven’t done is gone super ham on any of the grinds, I’ve poked a few of them a little, but I haven’t joined any groups that have spent hours farming keys or going on hunts for the centaur.

I did just get my Zenet Avis mount from that egg, so I have that going for me.

My guild has raided twice since the doors to the Vault of the Incarnates opened. We’re 7/8 Normal and have Heroic Eranog dead. We’ve tried both Normal Raszageth and Heroic Terros and got our butts handed to us. But I’m sure that we’ll do much better next week with some Great Vault loot and more set bonuses.

I’m not too worried about getting to the end of the Renown tracks. There is so much rep tied to the weekly stuff that I’m sure it’ll happen before you know it.

The Guardians Holiday Special was pretty fun! I liked the animation they did for the Michael Rooker bits. It needed more Cosmos though.

As for the Dragon Prince, always remember this “I feel bad for people who don’t laugh at fart jokes, they have less laughter but the same amount of farts.”

I really hate that weapons don’t flex their main stats anymore. It was so nice seeing something that you could equip drop and knowing that you could equip it. I spent almost all of Season 4 of Shadowlands using the Jailer’s strength mace because its effect was so strong. Which felt wrong as a bear Druid.

While we’re talking about current weapon stuff, I wish that the cosmetic-only appearances could be learned by any max-level character. Why should I have to be able to equip a shield to add it to a list of possible shield transmogs that only work on shields? The person who eventually uses it will have the proper proficiency! Just let me use it to get it out of my bag!

I got the tanking trinket from Heroic Eranog that does the Diablo flame stomp around you.

I gotta say that I’m missing personal loot right about now. I know that it could have its downsides — being unable to trade something you definitely weren’t going to use — but man did it feel better than rolling on things against everyone else.

I know intellectually that it’s basically the same thing happening, a boss drops loot and several people get things. When the math and the rolls were behind the scenes it felt more like us against the game though. Now that the rolls are in the open again it feels like I’m competing against people again — which I’m not digging as much.

This might also have something to do with the number of people on the Druid token in my raid. It’s basically half the raid! It’s gonna take me forever to get my tier!

I haven’t seen anything, but I assume there’ll be a new present under the tree for us.

I wouldn’t be upset if there was a major holiday revamp as part of the 10.1 patch. They’ve been pretty static for a long time, and I miss the excitement of the in-game events!
