Halloween brings holiday mayhem to most of Blizzard’s games. Here are all the celebrations for 2024.

Halloween is my favorite time of the year, and luckily, Blizzard has chosen to celebrate in most of their games as well this year.

Here are the games and a rough primer on the events, listed in order of when the celebrations conclude:

World of Warcraft Hallow’s End: October 25 through November 1

Cry for mercy, the reckoning has once again come. Candy buckets across the continents, skeleton wands, paper masks, the iconic Horseman — you know it, you love it, Hallow’s End is back. Or, rather, will be back — the start has been delayed until Friday the 25th (which, frankly, does not have the ring you want it to). It’s a beneficial event for every player, from newbies to oldbies to Classic fanatics.

Overwatch Halloween Terror: Through November 4

Speaking of classics, Junkenstein returns to wreak havoc once again. This time there’s also a fun PVP event where you get to pick talents to improve your Hero.

Diablo 4 Meat or Treat: Through November 5

In celebration (?) shrines in Diablo 4 will have an additional chance to give either a beneficial buff, or… not… until November 5. They’re also giving out daily cosmetics October 29 through November 1. But if you have your own IRL festivities to attend, don’t fret — it looks like you can collect them all up until the end of the event.

I haven’t spelled out all the details here, but trust me when I say the copy in the original blog post was really gross so make sure you haven’t recently eaten before you click through.

Hearthstone‘s Frightful Fantasy: Through November 5

This one is blink-and-you’ll-miss-it, a fairly standard one of these short events from the Hearthstone team. If you’re playing regularly you’ll complete it but if not, you’re not going to go out of your way to do it. Do a daily quest and play some games to earn those little pink doodads, and you’ll get some card packs, an arena ticket, and a spooky/cute Patches skin for the Rogue class. Plus, the main menu has candy corn on it. Festive!

Warcraft Rumble Hallow’s End: Through November 6

There are some fun Hallow’s End themed Minis to earn and a few events to play through. There are also some extra scary cosmetics in the shop for purchase if you have some extra candy corn burning a hole in your pocket.
