BlizzCon is coming back in 2026 — and tickets are going on sale November 7
After BlizzCon 2024 was canceled, we wondered if we would ever see another BlizzCon. If the era of the gaming convention was over, and Blizzard’s announcements would be done digitally while Blizzard games were just another part of the Microsoft booth at conventions.
But today Blizzard surprised us by announcing the next BlizzCon, to be held in Anaheim California on September 12 – 13, 2026.
Ticket sales start on November 7, 2025 at 9am pacific (12pm eastern), with early bird tickets available for $250 through November 9 (or while supplies last). Full ticket sales start on November 18 at 9am pacific (12pm eastern) for $289.99. Here are details on how to buy tickets with new ticketing service Tixr.
The timing of the event means we’ll be playing Midnight by the time of the convention, likely in patch 12.1. It’s uncertain what we might see at BlizzCon 2026. It feels like it might be a good time to talk about patch 12.2, but early to talk about The Last Titan. For Diablo 4, we should already be in whatever the next expansion is as well — I would be worried if we weren’t — but too early for the next. Hearthstone and Overwatch both are locked in a pretty regular cadence of new seasons, we’ll certainly see a new expansion for Hearthstone and new hero for Overwatch, but as to big announcements who knows.
But for now, BlizzCon is fast approaching. Make your plans and get ready to buy your tickets.
