As a Druid there’s only one thing I want from Midnight

As a Druid, I’ve become a single-issue Midnight player — all I want to know is if I’ll be able to make my bear form look as cool and ferocious as the bear loa Nalorakk. I’m not saying that the rest of Midnight looks bad or is not worth my time; I just know that for maximum enjoyment, I’m going to need to be able to slap a bunch of awesome-looking Troll armor and giant tusks onto my bear.

All we know about Nalorakk right now is that he’ll be giving us challenges to earn his favor in his dungeon. Which to me sounds like a great opportunity for a Zul’aman bear run callback. Maybe there’ll be an achievement put in place to clear through it super fast, and you’ll get a new bear as a mount. I’m just saying that he’d better get added to my collection of bear forms at the end of that, too.

Some of you may be saying that Druids just got a lot of love at the end of Dragonflight with the Emerald Dream patch, and yeah, that’s true — but I always need more cool forms to show off. It should be a given at this point that if there is a cool new creature using any of the Druid form animation rigs, then Druids should be given a way to earn that form.

My ultimate wishlist item is to get a customization interface like the gyrocopter and Dragonriding dragons. Let me adjust individual parts of my bear! Let me get new armor sets that can be worn on the bear! Druid players have been asking for armored forms forever, and the tech obviously exists that would let that happen. I would scour the Shadowlands and Azeroth and everything in between if it meant that I could unlock a new helm customization for my bear, and I know that I’m not alone in that.

I wouldn’t neglect my other transmog either, and I’m glad that the system is getting an overhaul, but my animal forms are my true passion when I’m playing a Druid, and I always want new ones. Also, I hope that non-Haranir Druids will also get to be a pangolin. Stop limiting Druids to racial forms! Surely the Druids are talking amongst themselves and teaching other Druids their tips and tricks. It can make sense from a lore standpoint, so why not from a gameplay?!

That’s all I want, every possible animal for my Druid shapeshifting. Is that too much to ask? I don’t think so.
