Blizzard Watch Weekly: Mooooooooo
We’re in a bit of a lull for Blizzard news this week, as World of Warcraft settles into patch 12.0.5, Diablo 4 settles into its latest expansion, and Classic waits for its next phases to launch (coming soon!). Last week would have been dead quiet if it weren’t for the cows.
Yes, the cows, because Diablo 4’s Secret Cow Level has finally been found, and all I can say about that is mooooooo.
It’s Monday, so let’s take a look at what’s been happening in Blizzard games over the past week, and what’s coming up this week. Here’s the latest in Blizzard games.
What happened last week?
- At long last, secret hunters and bovine enthusiasts have unlocked Diablo 4’s Secret Cow Level. Here’s how you can get to the Cow Level yourself, but be warned: it will take some time.
- WoW patch 12.0.7 has only just been announced, but we’re already thinking about the next big thing. Here’s our speculation on where we might be going in patch 12.1.
- We know external lighting for Player Housing will be added to WoW in patch 12.0.7: here’s what we know about the upcoming Player Housing lighting system.
- Hearthstone’s Restoration of Azeroth Class Sets were released last week, and we’re tackling the most important topics: the best art in this new collection of cards.
- This week’s Hearthstone Tavern Brawl is Nefarian Rises!, a co-op brawl. This can be an entertaining novel way to play the game or an exercise in frustration, depending on whether your co-op partner understands they’re playing a co-op game. Here are our tips to help you get a win this week.
What’s happening this week (and beyond)
- May 14: WoW Classic Anniversary realms The Burning Crusade Phase 2 launches
- Through May 21: Another WoW murloc plushie decor Twitch Drop is available to add to your collection.
- May 22: Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Season 14 starts
- Until they’re gone: BlizzCon 2026 tickets are on sale
Other things we’re playing, watching, and more
- There are two free games in the Epic Games Store this week, and we’re looking forward to getting our gobliny hands on them: Arranger, a “role-puzzling adventure,” and Trash Goblin, in which you are a goblin fixing up discarded junk to sell in your shop. Frankly, this sounds like a dream job.
