From a surprise patch 12.0.5 reveal to a low-key new Diablo 4 season, there's a lot to catch up on from the last week, and a lot more on the docket this week.

It’s a new dawn, a new day, a new leveling grind in World of Warcraft, and I’m sure I’ll wrap this up eventually, probably, it’s fine. But while I struggle to keep up with my friends in leveling and gearing for another WoW expansion, let’s get to another Queue.

Diablo 4 patch 2.6 is now live, kicking off Season 12: Season of Slaughter — though technical problems meant that players may have trouble connecting to the game or staying connected to the game for the first few hours.

This week all World of Warcraft servers are scheduled for two hours of downtime this morning, and it seems like a more reasonable time period than last week's optimistic one-hour maintenance, which wound up running for two hours anyway.

Last week, World of Warcraft's Midnight expansion officially launched worldwide, and between playing the game and writing about the game, we've been pretty busy.

I labeled this Queue carefully so I would not forget about it. But I may have created a problem, because Queues like having unique names, and I’m going to run out of headline variations at some point.

Fortunately that’s a problem for future Liz, and present Liz is doing just fine.

The Midnight expansion just dropped in World of Warcraft, which makes this week's one-hour maintenance seem optimistic to me, but that's why I'm not a game developer.

It's Monday, but it's also Midnight launch day for those that celebrate (which is probably most of us).
