This week's maintenance schedule for World of Warcraft is once again refreshingly light: all WoW servers will be down for just an hou this morning.

Good news, my friends: the World of Warcraft severs may be offline, but this week's maintenance will only last for an hour.

Back in 2019, Blizzard finally released the long requested original World of Warcraft experience as World of Warcraft Classic, with the long-term vision being vanilla content released in phases through level 60 and being done.

The next phase of content for WoW Classic anniversary realms, Phase 3, will go live in game at 3PM pacific time on Thursday March 20, 2025.

Tuesday means maintenance day, and this week The War Within players again have extended maintenance to look forward to, while Classic players have a quick hour of downtime.

When Season of Discovery was announced during BlizzCon 2023, it was introduced as the next season of content for World of Warcraft Classic following Season of Mastery but with a twist on player abilities, a staggered level-capped phase rollout, and new in-game activities.

Elemental Rune Dungeons are a continuation of the Titan Rune Dungeons introduced in Wrath of the Lich King Classic Phase 2 and function as an optional difficulty mode in Cataclysm Classic dungeons that players can choose to do to earn for higher level rewards as well as currency to purchase with a specific vendor.

After a short delay from its initial January 2025 release, Cataclysm Classic Phase 4 is now live and later this week on Thursday, February 20 at 3PM pacific time, the Dragon Soul raid will launch worldwide.

In WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 7, Sanctified is a new bonus system attached to different endgame pieces of armor and jewelry designed to work within the Naxxramas raid — and they'll be needed to take on Naxxramas' Empowered hard mode.
