The Epic Games Store is offering two very different games for free this week.

It's been three years since Heroes of the Storm officially entered maintenance mode -- meaning only small updates, and that there would be nothing new added to the game.

Midnight is a tough expansion for me. I refuse to play a Monk if I can’t have Xuen (p.s. Xuen is no longer baseline). I don’t love being a Paladin when I can’t live out my battle cleric fantasy by being a healer, which my guild doesn’t need. What am I supposed to do now?

Well, we’re a week from early access and I still haven’t decided. It’s probably fine. I’m sure I still have time. The answer will come to me any minute now. (Help.)

We thank our listeners and patrons for giving us another round of great questions, which we summarily answered and used as a diving board directly into the deep end of tin foil hat theories and speculation.

Wednesday is typically maintenance day for European realms, but this morning NA realms have an extra maintenance for Midnight realms.

Last time we talked about Hearthstone pets, they cost $158, which we thought was egregiously high.

At this point I’m more or less done with the prepatch event — or, at least, I’m doing about as much of it as I can stand. Now, I’m doing my own prepatch prep. Namely, I’m trying to wrap up all these little random quests in my log from expansions past that I just can’t seem to shake to clear quest slots for next expansion. Unfortunately, every one I do is apparently part of a long chain I don’t want to miss or mess up the next steps of, so I’m out here killing N’zoth once a week for… parts? I only have to kill Teron Gorefiend in Legion one more time for Khadgar to be satisfied before he sends me on to the next bit of the adventure. I need to do some stuff for Wrathion but I’m not sure which expansion he’s in, and the description just tells me to find him.

Anyway, we’re here now. So, that’s great. Love that for me.

We're still one whole World of Warcraft expansion away from The Last Titan, but we have now learned that we won't just be taking a quick trip to Ulduar for the return of the Pantheon -- we'll be exploring a fully updated and modernized continent of Northrend.

All World of Warcraft realms have a longer than usual maintenance today, but hopefully not too long: all servers are scheduled for two hours of maintenance this morning.
