Patch 11.0.1

World of Warcraft's new expansion The War Within kicks off the three-expansion Worldsoul Saga, and while it will take a while to reach the end of this trilogy, The War Within expansion is now live, and Season 1 has just begun unlocking the game's first big stretch of content.

As is traditional in World of Warcraft, the pre-patch prior to The War Within expansion came with a limited-time event with gear and collectibles: Radiant Echoes.

WoW maintenance today is a bit longer than usual, but it shouldn't be as bad as last week's mega-maintenance, when servers were down most of the day for the rollout of patch 11.0.1.

The War Within is coming to World of Warcraft very soon, and patch 11.0.1, the pre-patch is now live, bringing a lot of new game features.

The prepatch for The War Within arrived "yesterday" and with it came a lot of neat new features -- especially Warbands.
