Lots of people were upset about WoW's incoming tank nerfs, but I was mostly just impressed: Blizzard's managed to do something that's eluded physicists for years.

The Old Gods have left their mark on Azeroth, and especially on the Dragonflights that make up the main narrative focus of Dragonflight, World of Warcraft's appropriately named Dragon-themed expansion.

Lately I’ve been playing a lot of It Takes Two and it has made me reflect on the types of game mechanics that I really enjoy.

To paraphrase, it's not even past.

As I write this it’s been well above freezing for days, and nearly all the snow has melted. I’m not fooled — it’s winter in Canada, it’s going to come roaring back and dump frozen water all over us, that’s what it does. But it’s still bizarre to be in shirtsleeves weather in January. (Yes, slightly above freezing is shirtsleeves weather in Alberta.)

Yes, today’s Queue is late. We’re going to blame Comcast. I will be your host today, even though I don’t think I’ve written a Queue since 2008, when it was called Ask a Beta Tester and we were trying to answer everyone’s Wrath of the Lich King questions.
