PVP mercenary mode explored on 6.2.1 PTR
A couple of new complementary PVP mechanics are coming in patch 6.2.1 to hopefully alleviate some wait time issues with PVP in non-ranked battlegrounds and Ashran.
PVP Season 17 to begin tomorrow
PVP Season 17 — also known as Warlords Season 2 — begins tomorrow for NA and Oceanic servers, following the usual one week break after the end of the previous season.
PVP Season 16 ending soon
At the present time, no official date has been given for the end of Season 16. However, between this announcement and today's reveal that future builds on the 6.2 PTR are going to be flagged as "release" versions, it seems to be a pretty good indicator that the launch of patch 6.2 is right around the corner.
