I'm making some assumptions here, but I think it's a pretty safe assumption that Khadgar's day is not going to improve from this point on.

Prior to the imminent release of The War Within, the World of Warcraft team released a short cinematic to catch you up on the lore of the last few expansions which led us up to here.

As we round the corner on The War Within, Blizzard has been releasing more glimpses of what we can expect from the expansion, this time in an exposition-filled video.

We know a few things about Xal'atath at this point: she's a major antagonist for World of Warcraft's upcoming The War Within expansion, and she's been involved with the story of Azeroth for millennia, having shaped events and influenced things from behind the curtain.

Well, this is ominous, but really what can we expect from a void entity that was previously a sentient dagger?

The first two trailers for World of Warcraft: The War Within kick off with quite a bang, introducing us to several of the expansion's power players -- including ones who are technically still absent, who we haven't seen in a while, or who've just gotten a serious glow-up.

World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale has confirmed that Amirdrassil will be the final raid of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

I'll open by stating that Sire Denathrius had the potential to be an extremely relevant antagonist in World of Warcraft, far beyond just the limited influence he had in the Shadowlands.
