Breakfast Topic: Are you excited for Hearthstone’s Blackrock Mountain Adventure?

Today is the day. The Blackrock Mountain Adventure goes live for Hearthstone. Can you smell the brimstone and anticipation, people? Oh, maybe that’s Matticus getting ready for tomorrow’s Blizzard Watch Hearthstone livestream. Either way, new cards, new class challenges, heck, even a new board are arriving for you to play and enjoy.

There’s lots of fun new cards in this Adventure including a few that rely on having a Dragon card in your hand. The Dragons themselves are impressive including Chromaggus who allows you to put a duplicate copy in your hand of any card you draw. And, of course, there’s my favorite, Majordomo Executus. When he dies you turn into none other than Ragnaros the Firelord. Yes, you. Your health is set at 8 and your special ability is to deal 8 damage to a random enemy. I’ll take two, thanks.

Similar to Naxxramas, there are multiple wings to explore (5 in this case) and one will open up every week. Also like the first adventure, the class challenges come in both normal and Heroic versions. Defeat each boss to get two copies of a brand new card and clear a wing to earn a Legendary card. Finally, conquer each class challenge for two new class cards.
