What would your dream Hero in Heroes of the Storm be and why is it Anduin Lothar?

Okay, to be fair, it probably isn’t Anduin Lothar. But by now, with the addition of Anduin Wrynn, we’ve got a pretty solid array of Blizzard favorites over on the Heroes of the Storm roster. And that’s great. But there are always new characters who haven’t made the leap yet — I’m still holding out for Blackthorne, for example — and I’m dying of curiosity as to which ones you want to see make the cut.

I have a fairly exclusive list of characters I want to see — the Assassin and Druid from Diablo 2, Ariel Hanson from StarCraft, Shandris Feathermoon, the aforementioned Anduin Lothar, Moira Bronzebeard-Thaurissan, Natalie Seline, Calia Menethil, Cairne Bloodhoof, and finally Vindicator Maraad and Velen for my Warcraft picks. I think that’s pretty much all the big ones I can think of that I’d like to see make the jump — I’d like to see their interactions with various characters and how they’d be translated to work within the MOBA framework, especially for iconic characters like Lothar or characters like Ariel Hanson who’d have a definite reason to be irked at Raynor. I mean, Natalie Seline has barely done anything in World of Warcraft so she’d be a bit of a blank slate that they could interpret as they saw fit, but others like Calia or Cairne would definitely have some interesting things to say to the people who, for example, killed them.

So how about it? What characters would you most like to see come over to Heroes of the Storm? What’s your dream team of possible new characters and why do you think they’d be cool additions to the game?
