What are you most looking forward to in Dragonflight patch 10.2.5?

Dragonflight patch 10.2.5 arrives this week and while it does not herald a new raid tier or Season there’s a lot of new activities coming for players with the new patch. While Dragonriding in the old world is something I’m really looking forward to, there’s a lot else to be excited about.

Top of my list is the Azerothian Archives. While I’m sure many players aren’t excited for yet another Dragonflight public event, I’ve been a fan of all of them so far so I’m hopeful this one will be fun as well. The fact that it’s archaeology-based and has the potential for some neat lore secrets is icing on the event cupcake for me.

The Gilneas Reclamation quest chain is something I also will be doing ASAP. While I’m not emotionally invested in Gilneas like I am in the Dwarven kingdoms, I love anything that pushes the lore forward. The fact that there isn’t much information of what will be required to reclaim Gilneas — or how much of it will actually become reclaimed (Gnomes are still waiting to fully reclaim Gnomeregan more than ten years after Cataclysm) — means it’ll be a surprise when we see the results of our efforts.

Follower dungeons are another new feature that I’m excited for but more for future use reasons than for my current gameplay. At the start of Dragonflight I spent a lot of time running Nokhud Offensive for the drops needed for the Ohn’ahra mount as well as the ring needed to purchase the Ivory Trader’s Ottuk. Being able to run dungeons with zero queue time or being able to guiltlessly drop after a specific boss will make farming items and appearances a lot easier.

So what are you most looking forward to with the new patch? Are you a Horde player wanting to visit Bel’amath? Is your Warlock happy to get even more demon customizations? Are you excited for the Outland Cup? Or are you just happy that Draenei get another skin color option?
