What are your plans for WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria?

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria starts today and for the next few months players will be able to experience Pandaria in a fresh new way that I’ve taken to calling Hyper-Chromie Time. There’s a lot I can’t wait to experience again, or in the case of raiding as leveling something I’ve never had a chance to experience before. Plus there are a whole lot of collectibles to get!

But this is a limited-time event and that means I have to strategize not only what I want to do within ReMists but the post-event impact of having new characters on my roster heading into The War Within.

I already have close to full roster of max-level classes so I don’t need to use the fast leveling as a way to fill that out, so I’ll probably almost exclusively run Hunters — although there are other good options out there. I am missing a few races, though, so I’ll likely focus on the ones I haven’t unlocked Heritage Armor with, starting with Worgen and Goblin. I’m not sure if I’m going to level more than two characters though; while leveling is fast I have to think that the Bronze-farming necessary for getting collectibles is faster at max level.

And there’s a lot of Bronze I need. The top of my list is the Mini Mana Bomb that costs a whopping 50k of the ReMists currency. It’s worth it, though, because I missed the original pre-patch event for Mists so this item is one of the few toys I do not possess (it’d be super if they added the Theramore Tabard as well, but so far it hasn’t showed up). After I get the Mini Mana Bomb it’s a matter of buying as many of the collectibles as possible — and while it’s tempting to grab Ji’kun’s mount so I can stop running Throne of Thunder repeatedly I’m going to focus on acquiring the items not available on live first.

There’s also the unique rewards hiding behind achievements. Some are easy — you can get a Phoenix mount for reaching level 20 — but most of the rewards will require completing zone achievements. So while you can level up via raiding, I’m still planning to focus on questing to make sure I get those before the event ends.

Enough about my plans, what about yours? Are there specific collectibles you want to acquire? Do you plan on leveling multiple characters, and if so which ones? Are your ReMists characters going to be your main or one of your primary alts in The War Within? Or is your plan simply to have no plan and just play the game?
