Ready the caffeine, it’s time to continue the leveling blast in World of Warcraft

Occasionally, the stars and the moon and the sun align to create a confluence of perfect experience boosts in World of Warcraft, and friends, one of those events is happening in the next few days. Yes, thanks to some brief event overlaps, we’re going to have a tasty boost to experience bonuses in game. And while the peak window from Sunday August 3 to Monday August 4 has passed, we’ve still got some excellent bonuses overlapping. So grab your caffeine of choice (and a bunch of hydrating beverages) and ready the snacks, because you’re going you want to blast some sub-80 alts until Saturday, August 9.

Despite the end of Turbulent Timeways, we still have a good overlap of two current in-game events that are granting bonuses to experience:

• Darkmoon Faire runs Sunday, August 3 to Saturday, August 9. Riding the Carousel or the Rollercoaster grants WHEE!, increasing experience and reputation gained by 10% for one hour. If you don’t enjoy the carnival rides, instead pick up the Darkmoon Top Hat for your 10% increase to experience and reputation as they do not stack.
• Winds of Mysterious Fortune runs from July 15 to August 12 and grants a 20% experience boost and varying reputation increases based on the targeted expansion. Leveling players can receive a Weathered Mysterious Satchel as a drop from events; one of the potential rewards, the Bottle of Mysterious Wisdom,  grants another 10% increase to experience gained for two hours.

The best part of all this is that you don’t have to do too much to take advantage of these bonuses! Do the following prep and you’re good to blast:

1. Hit the Darkmoon Faire to grab your first one hour buff from the rides and a stack of Darkmoon Top Hats to save you a trip back.
2. Drink a Bottle of Mysterious Wisdom if you have one.
3. Go blast content — dungeons, quests, Azeroth is your oyster.

That’s it! Everything else is passive. Once you hit level 80, pass your current stack of Bottle of Mysterious Wisdom potions and Darkmoon Top Hats to the next alt once your current one hits 80 and keep on zooming through the levels.

And just as a cherry on top — you receive an additional, constant scaling buff to leveling experience as you add level 80 characters to your Warband. The Warband Mentor achievement series rewards a constant 5% experience bonus for each level 80 character you have in your warband, capping out at 25%. It’s such a quality of life improvement — you’re literally leveling subsequent alts faster and faster thanks to this addition in The War Within. Now go blast so you can enjoy your fresh slew of level 80 alts to play… and gear… and transmog (really, just transmog) in patch 11.2.0.
