The Queue: Still waiting for Chaddius
Okay. I admit, I may have panicked about Chaddius a little too quickly. Chaddius only takes a break up by the lake when he’s Steward of the Day, which can only happen when there’s a calling in Bastion. So Chaddius was never exactly missing — it just wasn’t his day off to chill with a box of wine.
Because, really, that’s the kind of day off that we all want.
But I haven’t seen him since I started my quest. Which either means I managed to miss his day even though I thought I was paying attention, or he’s having a really long workweek. So I hope Chaddius gets a break soon so I can go say hi.
But while we wait for Chaddius, let’s get to the Queue.
The Queue: The search for Chaddius
It’s grand theft Chaddius over here, but Team Blizzard Watch is on the case. We’re going to rebrand the site into Chaddius Watch and post wall-to-wall coverage of this tragedy. We’re going to post missing persons fliers all over Bastion. We’re going to put Chaddius’ face on milk cartons. We’re going to make sad tribute videos that force the world to take notice. We aren’t going to stop until this Steward is safely brought back home.
The Queue: Hello? Is this thing on?
Another week passes and another Friday arrives, just like every Friday before it.
But let’s not get bogged down in the little monopolies of life. Let’s answer some questions.
The Queue: Let’s retire to a pumpkin farm
We’ve been in the hero business for a while now… but maybe it’s time to stop, take a break, and grow some pumpkins.
…no? Well, we can still dream.
The Queue is very cold today
It’s so cold outside that even my eyeballs feel cold, which is pretty gosh-darned cold. And I know this because Abby refuses to go outside alone, so I have to walk with her, even the many times she wants to walk outside for long enough to decide she doesn’t want to be outside, then turn around and come back inside, then repeat again when she’s forgotten she didn’t want to go out in the cold. In short, I’m spending an above average amount of time walking around outside, so I can say without a doubt that it is very cold.
But enough about that. Let’s answer some questions.
The Queue: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday….
Hm… I’m sure something comes after that. Well, anyway, it’s probably not important. Let’s talk about games.
Join us this this weekend as the Blizzard Watch D&D crew continues to search for mysteries behind the Witchlight Carnival
The Queue: Forgot it was Friday edition
Friday, where do you come from? Where do you go? It sneaks up like a flash, and then it vanishes without a trace. Weird how that seems to happen every week.
The Queue: Friday Queueday
It’s the first Friday of 2022, and I hope you are all having a good one. I plan to celebrate the day with a nice nap in a sunbeam, like a cat. Except it’s supposed to be overcast, so there might not be any sunbeams. So maybe just a nap under a nice blanket. Naps are great, and I hope all of us have had a nice nap in 2022.
But let’s take a break from napping to answer some questions.
The Queue: The most wonderful time of the year, maybe, if you’re into that sort of thing
Winter Veil is live and we’re heading towards the end of 2021 as the holiday season — both real and imagined — zooms by. It’s wild how we’ve already gone through another year, isn’t it?
But wonderful or not, timely or not, now it’s time for the Queue.
