Reality is quite objective, so who’s to say, really?

Heading out to BlizzCon can be intimidating, whether you’re a convention newbie or an old hat.

After nearly a week out of town, I have lost all sense of the passage of time and space. But no one else has written the Queue today, so I guess it must be my turn. That’s how these things work, right? Hopefully that’s how these things work.

And if not, that’s how I’m going to make them work. Let’s do this.

In yesterday’s Queue I asked for questions early in the day so I could write the Queue early and get to bed, because by the time you read this I will be on an airplane to New York to spend time with family. And you gave me some excellent Gnome-themed questions — with my sincere apologies to the ones I have not bothered to answer —which were very helpful.

And yet somehow I’m still writing the Queue after midnight and my alarm is going off at 5am.

So, not that I want to rush this or anything, but let’s get to the questions.

I don’t necessarily mind doing LFR. I’m a healer, so I get quick queues and I’m not likely to be vote-kicked for lulz. But LFR isn’t always fun. Some encounters are too challenging for a disorganized group. Sometimes you wind up getting grouped with jerks that you don’t even want to spend virtual space with. Sometimes you wipe dozens of times surrounded by people you hate and you really start to question your life choices.

Which is a roundabout way of saying that I don’t LFR when I don’t have a reason to, and at present I outgear it. That would usually mean I can ignore it, but I went in to investigate for you. So I hope you appreciate my sacrifice.

I have to say, it’s very hard to be bored when you’re being chased down by several dozen whelplings. Sure, they’re only baby dragons, but they have so many tiny teeth and a small fireball will scorch you as well as a big one.

But just because I’m not bored doesn’t mean it’s not boring.

Every year the Blizzard Watch (or, before that, WoW Insider) team would sit down before BlizzCon and write up some predictions.

I have questions about some of yesterday’s Queue comments. Questions that are never going to be answered because I am not going to google them. But I think I’m going to blame Mitch and his Nintendo talk. I have a feeling that’s a significant portion of the problem.

And now that we’ve gotten the difficult business of who to blame out of the way, let’s get on to an all-new day of madness.

World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Overwatch, and even Diablo — for just about every game, there's an upcoming patch or update that's going to shake things up (or at least add some new treats for us to play with).

I don’t know what’s happening here, but I’m going to roll with it anyway. So let’s roll together, shall we? We shall.
