What if the WoW Anniversary World Bosses were just… always up?
The Queue: The album cover sessions
Sometimes you’re taking screenshots and you just realize that every one of them looks like the back art to an album from a band that’s about to break up.
So, as of this Queue, Mitch and I are switching days — he’ll pick up next Wednesday, and I’ll be on Thursdays from now on. This means you’ll want to get all your Shadow Priest questions in on Tuesday Queue comments, for example.
I’m listening to this and thinking about what I’d do if I got to write a Superman comic. It would probably be pretty weird and out there with alien stuff, but also the whole “Guy who really just wants to help” aspect of things. Like I said back then, a man who is almost a god but who wants to be a man.
The Queue: Would you choose Kal-El over Geralt?
I’m going to miss Henry Cavill as Geralt, he was basically the glue that held the sometimes confusing Witcher series together. But I’m not even going to pretend I’m not pretty happy to get to see Cavill given a chance to play a less Zach Snyder-y version of Superman.
How talent trees evolved from WoW’s launch to Cataclysm — and how Dragonflight harkens back to them
What are you planning to do with your last month in the Shadowlands?
The Queue: A gentle digression
My cat Puck, in the wake of Aurora’s passing this year, has become very vocal at night. We suspect it’s out of loneliness, as she and Aurora shared a bed overnight and kept each other company. Since I’m awake anyway, I’ve been letting her come and sleep in my office while I’m trying to work. It’s not always ideal, but here we are.
Anyway, hi, y’all. I’m pitching in for Liz while she does the 10,000 things that need doing at any given time.
This is the Queue. Try and be quiet, please, Puck is asleep right now.
