It's BlizzCon 2023 and we have details on our first Diablo 4 expansion -- Vessel of Hatred.

We sent a few writers to the BlizzCon floor to take in-person pictures of Blizzard's version of hell as experienced in Diablo -- but after seeing what they've experienced we don't exactly expect them to come back.

Diablo 4 is of course continuing to release content in its various Seasons -- for example, we're currently in Season 2 as I type this -- but we've all wondered where the story of the game was going to go next, following the conclusion of the main storyline.

Diablo 4 Season 2, Season of Blood, started October 17 with a few bumps for console but an otherwise surprisingly smooth kickoff.

In Diablo 4 Season 2, Season of Blood, Sanctuary is beset by a newly turned army of ravenous vampires, and you get to wield their dreadful Vampiric Powers to "hunt the hunter." But, you have a few things to do before you can use their Powers for (perhaps dubiously) good.

Love it or leave it, Diablo 4 is going to grow and has a ton of possibilities for follow-up, and it’s already confirmed that we're getting a Diablo 4 expansion in the next year, likely to be announced in a few weeks at BlizzCon.

If you're playing Diablo 4's Season of Blood, you've no doubt noticed that your 22 new vampiric powers have requirements to power them -- shown simply as symbols -- called Vampiric Pacts.

Diablo 4 Season 2 is now live and players have once again been tasked with defending Sanctuary from an otherworldly threat.

Welcome to Diablo 4 Season 2, where you can play out your vampire-slayer fantasies like a virtual Blade, wielding Vampiric Powers against Lord Zir and his undead hordes.

With the imminent arrival of Diablo 4 Season 2 -- the Season of Blood -- the game is revamping many current Unique items as well as adding a bunch of new Unique items for players to hunt down.
