The War Within

Next week brings The War Within pre-patch aka patch 11.0.1 and while there's a lot arriving with the patch it's also bringing one of the most anticipated features in Warcraft history: Warbands.

The War Within is World of Warcraft's next expansion, and as always there will be a pre-patch that updates the game with new systems and expanded features.

World of Warcraft: The War Within will introduce Delves, a new type of instanced progression activity for players that will reward gear equivalent to raids and Mythic dungeons, as well as the Delver's Dirigible customizable mount.

When Blizzard posted planned dungeon and Mythic+ changes to the World of Warcraft: The War Within beta forums, and the community was quick to express its concern in the lackadaisy assortment of new affixes along with a healthy dose of disbelief when their least favorite affixes were still lurking around the corner.

Dragonflight implemented a major rework of professions for players, adding quality tiers to materials and crafted goods, profession knowledge trees, and crafting orders.

Blizzard will be shutting down Guild Realm Transfers and Guild Faction Transfers on July 22, 2024.

World of Warcraft: The War Within gets the typical batch of new dungeons, but not too much will be changing in dungeons themselves — we're doing the same old thing, just in new places.
