My Guardian Druid finally got his hands on a piece of gear with Twilight Devastation.
World of Warcraft's replacement for Titanforged and Warforged gear, Corrupted gear, has gone through a lot of changes in the three weeks since patch 8.3 dropped -- not too long ago, for example, we saw Infinite Stars and a host of other Corrupted gear abilities get significant nerfs.
Ny'alotha is here.
The way Corrupted Items are supposed to work, there's an intention that you'll always balance your Corruption against the benefit a specific item or trait will bring you, looking for ways to keep your Corruption low enough that you're not blowing up your raid while you also blow up the monsters.
Patch 8.3 is coming out today!
If you haven't had enough of gear being overly complicated in BFA, I have some great news for you -- in patch 8.3, we're moving away from the simple Titanforging system, where sometimes a piece of gear can drop that's just a little bit better than normal.
In patch 8.3, we're getting a Corruption system for gear which will replace the current Titanforging mechanic and also give players a degree of control over their armor.
