Patch 11.0.7

One of the biggest features of our trip to Siren Isle in WoW's 11.0.7 patch is the promise of a brand new shiny ring to upgrade over time and fill with special gems that have magical powers.

By this point, a lot of World of Warcraft players have done a great deal of gearing up during Season 1 of The War Within, but there are still a lot of walls being hit by players at the high end -- achievements with some silly requirements, absurd amounts of crests needed to craft the highest tier of crafted item, and overtly punitive crest losses from failing a Mythic+ timer.

After the freedom to fly all over Khaz Algar right off the bat in The War Within, it might come as a shock to players to not be able to fly again on the Siren Isle.

WoW patch 11.0.7 launches today, and even though it's a minor patch we're due for some major maintenance: The War Within servers were slated to be offline from 7am - 3pm pacific, but now they're back up!

We're off on our adventure to Siren Isle, and that means a new currency, Flame-Blessed Iron, to collect and spend on fabulous rewards.

The centerpiece of WoW patch 11.0.7 is Siren Isle, with its four new mounts and its fancy customizable ring, along with quests, story, and all the usual stuff you've come to expect from a World of Warcraft content patch.

WoW patch 11.0.7 is now live, giving us the chance to explore the mysterious Siren Isle.

Our upcoming foray to the Siren Isle in patch 11.0.7 will bring four new trusty steeds to the game, the perfect companions to well-rounded adventurers setting out for the new zone when it launches next week.

It's been three months since the launch of The War Within, and we've had plenty of time to become acclimated to the new Warbands feature.

World of Warcraft is maintaining an aggressive content schedule through the end of 2024, with patch 11.0.7 launching earlier than we expected: the WoW patch 11.0.7 release date is December 17, 2024.
