WoW Classic's latest expansion, Mists of Pandaria Classic, launched on in summer 2025 alongside a roadmap outlining a bit more detail for Mists of Pandaria Classic but it really only included the pre-patch and expansion launch, which felt a little slim for the last half of 2025.

Continuing on a trend of transparency that started prior to Dragonflight, the World of Warcraft team today gave us a look at a 2026 roadmap that shows both the expected cadence of Midnight's content patches, as well as some new and exciting features and game modes and the return of an older feature that we haven't seen outside of a single experiment during Battle for Azeroth.

The next expansion in the World of Warcraft Worldsoul Saga is Midnight and Blizzard has formally announced the Midnight expansion release date: March 2, 2026 at 3pm pacific time.

Another year, another roadmap of what to look forward to in WoW Classic.
